The Running Scots competed at the McNeil Invitational at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on Saturday.  In the varsity gold division the team of Charlie Campbell, Hunter Hegi, Brett Jacot, Eric Lara, Ethan Moss, Jack Payne and Pierce Whiteman finished 60th overall.  Jacot led the team with a season best time of 17:23.  In the 5A division the team finished 15th out of 34 teams competing and were led by Joseph Linck who was 30th among runners.  Dylan Benak, William Dalton, Foster Hudson, Kai Jejurikar, Aidan Morrill, and Mark Philbin all posted personal best times.  The Golden Spike Award goes to senior Captain Aiden Morrill who PR'd for the second week in a row and by almost a minute on Saturday.  The team will compete this Friday in the Jesuit Classic at Norbuck Park.  Race time is 8 AM.  Go Scots!
