The Warren Center Scores Big with 26th Annual Fantasy Football Event

The Warren Center, a nonprofit agency providing professional evaluations, therapy services and support to children with developmental delays and disabilities hosted the  26thannual Fantasy Football Draft Night event on August 23, 2019 at the Westin Galleria. Close to 400 guests were in attendance – raising more than $360,000 dollars for the nonprofit. 

Over the past two decades the popularity of Fantasy Football event, has grown tremendously along with the dedication and support of our attendees,” says Amy Spawn, CEO of The Warren Center. “What started as small informal gathering of friends, has now evolved into an annual event that hosts more than 500 attendees, all of whom serve as our greatest cheerleaders, helping to raise funds and awareness for The Warren Center.”

This year’s event was hosted by Darren Woodson, a three-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Pro Bowl selection, he played his entire career for the Dallas Cowboys from 1992-2003. At the football-themed event, guests drafted their own Fantasy Football team to compete in a league of friends and colleagues throughout the NFL season. At the end of the season, the champion of Fantasy Football will win two season tickets for the Dallas Cowboys 2020-2021 season. Winners of each league will receive a football autographed by a celebrity NFL player. Guests were also treated to dinner and drinks, live music, silent and live auctions and fun for a great cause. 

Proceeds from this event help support programs for The Warren Center throughout the year including educational programs and services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental services, nutrition, family education and support for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
