The Lady Scots swept Seagoville to win the area round of the UIL 4A state volleyball championship tournament last Friday.

The team was led by senior captain Maya Lloyd, who had eight kills and five aces and freshman Elizabeth Gilley, who had five kills and 10 aces. Junior setter Lena Pierce served nine aces and had 17 assists. Click HERE for a stat sheet from the game. 

The Lady Scots will advance to face Frisco in the regional quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson High School. Click HERE for directions.  

Adult tickets will be $6, and student tickets will be $4 at the gate.

The community is invited to a send-off for the team as they board the bus at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at the HPHS student entrance on Westchester Drive across from the parking garage.
