Kayla Kiser's fourth-grade class participated in Red Ribbon Week last month at Bradfield Elementary, and the students wanted to share their experience with Bubble Life's Park Cities readers. Here is the summary the class wrote about the Red Ribbon Week fun — and be sure to check out the photos below.

"It’s red here; It’s red there; It’s red everywhere… It’s Red Ribbon Week!

October 22–26 was dedicated to drug and alcohol awareness and prevention. Our class at Bradfield Elementary encouraged self-esteem, setting boundaries, and healthy lifestyles by dressing up for school.

We were just a tiny part of the sea of red who listened as The Brain Lady explained the effects of alcohol and drugs on the developing brain.

By wearing our pajamas to show everyone we are going to follow our dreams and wearing crazy socks to kick drugs away and sock it to ‘em, we modeled our goals for a drug free future."
