Bradfield Elementary is partnering together with Community Partners of Dallas to help abused and neglected children.

During the week of Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, the school is encouraging parents to have their students bring youth and child-sized socks and underwear, which can be placed in collection boxes throughout the school.

Items collected will be distributed to these children through the Rainbow Room, an emergency resource center for caseworkers that offers tangible help to families in need.

The Rainbow Room accepts new items only, operating on the credo that "abused and neglected children don't need abused and neglected clothes."

Community Partners of Dallas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services.
