Scots Varsity Offense Shines in 84-67 Win Over North Forney

 
Highland Park Scots Varsity Basketball Team notched another important District 15 5A win at home against North Forney Friday night. It was the offense that proved unstoppable this time racing to an 84-67 win for the Scot’s third straight district victory. The scoring was led by Cade Wagner with 22 point as his teammates continuously found the big man near the basket for open shots. Finn Corwin had 10 assists on the night to go with his usual tenacious defense. Will Enzor added 17 points and Jack Palms had a season high 13. Dillon Powell played a solid game with 10 points and Alex Staffaroni scored 9.
 
Highland Park Field House was packed creating an exciting atmosphere for the Scots. Fans were treated to a performance by the Highland Park Belles at halftime and the Highland Park Cheer Team and Sparkles throughout the night. The evening also included the annual Hoops & Hot Sauce event while the Scot's Basketball Team delivered an exciting win to make the night complete.
 
The Scots are now 16-9 overall and 5-2 at the halfway point of district play.
 
Highland Park basketball action continues at HOME on Tuesday as they try to avenge an earlier loss to West Mesquite. Varsity game tips off at 7:00 and JV at 5:30.
