Friday night lights don't get much better than this. Great food for a great band followed by a 2 for 1 sports doubleheader at Highland Park High School this Nov. 9. Beginning at 5 p.m., the Highlander Band is hosting its major fundraiser in the school's cafeteria.
Join Peggy Sue and her Bar-Be-Que and support the band on BLUE OUT NIGHT. But wait, that's not all. At 6 p.m. - just down the hall in the Field House - see the Lady Scots Varsity basketball tip-off against their 5A opponent from Allen, the Lady Eagles. The hoopsters are hot - the only individuals to defeat an incumbent president last Tuesday when they played Woodrow Wilson to a 70-30 victory.
Following the hoopla, there will be football at Highlander Stadium where the Scots take on district rival Terrell Tigers with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff time. Your Scots football ticket gets you free amission into the basketball game, so support the Highlander Band on BLUE OUT NIGHT and enjoy a sports doubleheader for the price of one.
