A victim called in at 11:58 AM to report that his vehicle has a bullet hole in the hood.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Stanford Avenue in regards to a case of theft. The 49-year-old female victim reported that her wallet, which contained her credit cards and ID, had been stolen between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
JANUARY 2
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A suspect took a package without permission from the porch of a residence in the 3600 block of Wentwood Drive. The theft occurred between 3:30 PM on December 28 and 5:30 PM on December 28.
JANUARY 3
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF AND HARASSMENT
A 19-year-old male victim reported that known suspects had damaged his truck and continue to harass him on social media.
JANUARY 4
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE
An unknown suspect entered the victim's vehicle and stole several items between 6:00 PM on December 25 and 6:00 AM on December 26. The victim's vehicle had been parked outside of his residence in the 2900 block of Westminster Avenue when the theft occurred.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A vacant house in the 3600 block of Asbury Avenue now has damage to its hardwood floors and countertop, but police do not know who caused the damage.
HARASSMENT
A known offender is harassing a victim through social media and text messages. The victim reported the harassment to the police at approximately 4:19 PM.
FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
A victim living in the 3800 block of Stanford Avenue reported that someone had stolen information pertaining to his identity.
JANUARY 5
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
An unknown person took cash out of a vehicle without permission while it was parked in the 6800 block of Airline Road at approximately 4:15 PM.
CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE
An unknown suspect took the reporting person's credit card information without her consent while she was in the 3200 block of Hanover Street.
CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE
The reporting person stated that there were charges on her credit card account that she did not make nor give consent to.
JANUARY 6
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
A residence in the 3400 block of Haynie Avenue was burglarized between 4:00 PM on December 27 and 6:30 PM on January 6.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Three subjects in the 4100 block of University were arrested for possession of marijuana while sitting in a church parking lot at approximately 10:00 PM.
JANUARY 7
DUTY ON STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE
A vehicle legally parked along the curb on the 6500 block of Hillcrest Avenue was struck by another vehicle between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. The suspect driver did not leave behind the necessary information.
