Senior Captains, Abby Snelling and Cassidy Yancey, got to go out with a bang the last home game of their high school playing careers. The Lady Scots shot a stellar 47% from the field and 54% from behind the arc. Yancey led both teams in scoring with 19 points, shooting 83% from the field and knocking down all 7 of her free throws while Snelling chipped in 9 and pulled down 5 rebounds. Yancey also had four assists. Ashley Turner had 16 points and 6 rebounds and Mary Warriner Kemp finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds. All Lady Scots scored and contributed on the defensive end of the floor.

 

 Fans of the Year were also announced last Friday night!  Leonard Fox and Jacob Smith were honored as Fans of the Year.  Leonard and Jacob are always on the front row of every home game cheering on the the Lady Scots! Their enthusiasm and spirit are a huge encouragement to all of the players and coaches.  To top off the night, Senior Captains, Abby Snelling and Cassidy Yancey, were honored for  their four years of  leadership, hard work and dedication to the Lady Scots Basketball program.  

 

The Scots finished up district play last Tuesday night with a tough loss to Wylie East. However, the Lady Scots are playoff bound! Go Scots! #FridayNightHoops
