Junior #52 Caroline Keogh

The Lady Scots’ season came to a tough end Monday night after losing to Dirstrict 16-5a champions, Texas High, in the Bi-District playoff game. Despite being down by as many as 16 points in the first half, the Scots fought back and cut the lead to 6 going into halftime. The fight continued after the break and the Scots took their first lead of the game with a little over four minutes remaining in the third. Texas High answered back with intense defensive pressure that forced the Scots to make some costly errors. The Scots continued to compete with a “never give up” mentality. Mary Warriner Kemp led in scoring with 19 followed by Caroline Keogh who had 11, most of which came from offensive putbacks. The Lady Scots are graduating three senior captains and will return next season with seven varsity veterans.
