Tootsies, located in the Plaza at Preston Center, was in "spring fashion" mode as they hosted the Sixth Annual University Park Preschool Association (UPPA) Kickoff Party & Fashion Show on Thursday, February 7 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. 

Guests enjoyed light bites provided by Central Market, a Trendy Tasting wine stroll provided by Pogo’s, music by DJ Esquire, raffle, swag bags and a Spring Fashion Show featuring designs by Laundry. Five Little Gym clients modeled The Little Gym’s newest T-shirts, adding fun to the fashion show. 

Seen in the crowd: UPPA Spring Market Chairs, Niccole Maurici and Misty Wightman, UPPA Spring Market Kickoff Chairs, Rachel Wallace and Christina Bell, Donna and Joel Lake (Little Gym), Jim and Molly New (Southern Botanical), Leah Boswell (Wells Fargo), Dr. Adler, UPPA President, Laura Saunders, Former Spring Market Chairs Renne Lokey, Barbara Kerwin and Diane Schwartzendruber and Jim Cali.

Save the Date for the Spring Market

The UPPA Spring Market will be held on March 20 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at UP Elementary.

This day of shopping fun and mingling with friends is normally attended by 800 people. Approximately 90 vendors with unique jewelry, children’s, women and men’s clothing, artwork, homeware and other items, fill the gym and outdoor venues selling their products and services. Food and gourmet baked goods are also provided from local restaurants. All proceeds raised from this one-day market are donated to the University Park Elementary School. The University Park Preschool Association (UPPA) is an organization open to families with children ages birth through kindergarten, who live in the University Park Elementary School District. Our goal is to provide parent education on children's growth and development, socialization between parents and children, and fundraising support for University Park Elementary School.
