The Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta and Scottish Rite Hospital celebrated the success of Tri Delta's recent 2018 Cookies & Castles event with a luncheon at the hospital on February 15th. Several employees of the hospital, Tri Delta alumnae members and representatives from Vandergriff Acura and DFW Acura Dealers, the event's presenting sponsor, enjoyed lunch, celebrated the event, and heard an inspiring story from Scottish Rite Hospital patient and Hockaday student, Charlsie Doan. This year's check for $150,000 was the largest amount donated to Scottish Rite Hospital by Tri Delta Alumnae and brings the total amount given to the hospital's prosthetics department to $550,000.

"We have so much fun hosting this event to benefit the wonderful work done at Scottish Rite Hospital," Jan Williams, Cookies & Castles event chair, says. "Tri Delta could not do this without all of generous sponsors especially our presenting sponsor, the DFW Acura Dealers and Vandergriff Acura."
