In a well matched and hard fought battle between two state 5A powerhouses (and the last 2 years’ 5A State Champions), the Lady Scots came out ahead of Frisco Wakeland 2-1 in Round #3 of the State Playoffs.   A goal by Presley Echols off a corner by Halley Ray in the first half was the first on the board, and a second goal by Maja Davison with 1:33 to go in the second half sealed the victory.   It was a thrilling win over a very talented opponent.  The Scots will meet North Forney this Friday April 12th at 10 am at Standridge Stadium in the Regional Semifinals.  Check the Lady Scots facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ladyscotsoccer) for updates as the 6 time State Champions continue their quest to BRING It HOME!
