Galleria Dallas & Dallas Arboretum Celebrate Spring with a New Exhibit

Every spring, thousands of families flock to the Dallas Arboretum to enjoy the beautiful Dallas Blooms festival, which features more than a half-million spring blooms. This year, you can get a little bit of the magic of the Dallas Arboretum at Galleria Dallas. The arboretum and the shopping and lifestyle center are pairing up for an exhibit on the Gallery Wall on level one of the center across from Apple.

The exhibit features a larger-than-life photo of the breathtaking tulips for which Dallas Blooms is known, as well as information on A Tasteful Place, the arboretum’s 3.5-acre garden dedicated to growing, harvesting, and preparing fresh fruits and vegetables. The exhibit also features the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, where science and fun become one! The eight-acre scientific garden is where kids learn about nature, life, and earth sciences.

During the exhibit, Dallas Arboretum will host free interactive events on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon across from Sephora on level one. These include:

  • March 5 and 12 — Gardening demonstration
  • March 19 — STEM experiment, perfect for the young and young-at-heart
  • March 26 — Floral demonstration

“Dallas Blooms is such a significant event for families in North Texas, and we are thrilled to have a touch of the beautiful Dallas Arboretum flowers on the walls of Galleria Dallas this spring,” said Galleria Dallas Director of Marketing Megan Townsend. “We’re also excited about the value the interactive events will bring to our guests.”

Dallas Arboretum Board Chairman Jim Ryan added, “Springtime is one of the best times to experience the Dallas Arboretum in full bloom, with plenty to see and do. Our Birds in Paradise theme doesn’t just stop with our stunning topiaries. We hope that people visiting Galleria Dallas will be inspired by this fantastic wall to plan a visit to the garden and enjoy more than 500,000 spring blooming flowers and all the events.”

Dallas Blooms: Birds in Paradise will be on display at the Dallas Arboretum from Feb. 19-April 10, 2022.  The exhibit at Galleria Dallas will be featured from March 4-28, 2022.
