Author and life coach Gregg L. Grossman brought his uplifting message of hope and encouragement to The Preston of the Park Cities during a Watermark University class for senior residents of the community on October 22.
Gregg Grossman, PhD, is a bi-vocational chaplain for Marketplace Chaplains and president and founder of Christian life coaching company, Beyond Perseverance, LLC. His recently published book, Times of Perseverance: Hope and Healing on the Battlefields of Life, is a narrative of survival and restoration following personal and family tragedies, including traumatic brain injury and loss from coronavirus.
“Dr. Grossman’s inspirational messages of sharing and the value of community are ones that are ageless,” said Ke’o Velasquez, Executive Director, The Preston of the Park Cities. “He reinforced two beliefs that are central to what we espouse – ‘Everyone has a story to share’ and ‘We all need each other’. These are foundational in senior living, and especially here at The Preston.”
The talk by Dr. Grossman was part of the community’s Watermark University fall series, which features integrated programmatic offerings in the seven dimensions of wellness (spiritual, emotional, vocational, physical, social, environmental, and intellectual).
The program is a signature of Watermark Retirement Communities® at the 58 communities in 21 states it manages, including The Preston of the Park Cities, which is owned by Dallas-based Silverstone Senior Living.
