The award-winning Highland Belles Drill Team will host its annual Spaghetti Supper and online auction/raffle fundraiser on Friday, September 3, 2021. The annual dinner is planned to rally Scots’ spirit before the Highland Park vs. Mesquite Horn football game.

This year’s theme, “Just Keep Kicking” builds on the team’s 38-year tradition of the Spaghetti Supper, which is the Belles’ only fundraiser. Annually, the Belles host hundreds of Highland Park ISD families for dinner and prizes, and proceeds from the event fund many of the drill team’s essentials including bus transportation, props, sound systems and competition expenses. This year the Belles are looking forward to hosting an in-person event at the high school cafeteria, as well as offer a take-out option and the online auction.

Celebrating 26 years of partnership, the Belles are pleased and grateful for the support of Amore Italian Restaurant, as well as presenting sponsor The HP Program Tutoring Service. Tickets are on sale now and will continue through September 3. Ticket purchases and donations may be made now online at highlandbelles.muradbid.com and in person at the Spaghetti Supper. Limited dinner tickets will be sold at the event. Dinner tickets are $11.00 each and raffle chances are $5.00 each, or six for $25.00.

The Highland Belles Booster Club will serve take-out spaghetti dinners from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in front of the high school on Emerson where orders will be delivered to patron’s cars, and the dine-in event will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

For the second year in a row, the highly anticipated silent auction and raffle will be held online from August 27 – September 3 at highlandbelles.muradbid.com, or text highlandbelles to 56651 to be directed to the auction site.

“The Highland Belles would like to thank the numerous local businesses and friends who have provided support to our team through underwriting, more than 600 fantastic auction donations, and many enticing raffle basket items,” said Highland Belles Director Shannon Phillips. “We are excited to see everyone in person again this year at our Spaghetti Supper.”
