Friday afternoons in the Park Cities will soon be a little sweeter, thanks to a new "Friday Pop-Up at The Preston" drive-through series announced this week by The Preston of the Park Cities.
Beginning Friday, August 27, between 2 and 4 p.m., associates of the boutique-style senior living community will be offering complimentary sweet treats to area residents who drive up to the entrance of the building at 5917 Sherry Lane.
"Our highly visible location at the corner of Sherry Lane and the Tollway gives us the perfect arrangement for drive-through events," said Ke'o Velasquez, Executive Director, The Preston of the Park Cities. "Our new Friday Pop-Ups are a way to extend the hospitality we're known for and showcase the culinary skills of local and regional artisans to our Park Cities and Preston Hollow neighbors and fellow businesses.
"This week, we'll have frozen treats from Steel City Pops," said Velasquez. "Each Friday Pop-Up treat will be different and we expect to be adding surprise elements to the drive-throughs in the coming weeks."
Velasquez said that safe and private one-on-one tours of the community's Assisted Living, Bridge, and Memory Care residences would also be available during the events.
"We're planning for our Friday Pop-Ups to be a fun, sweet, and safe way to start the weekends this fall," he continued. "We'll be masked, but smiling!"
