Intimate Dinner Party Under the Stars Features Chef Nury’s Unique Kitchen in Airstream Trailer
Intimate dinner parties have evolved in 2020. Renowned New York Chef Yann Nury brought his sleek, redesigned 1971 Airstream Trailer kitchen to Dallas recently to entertain eight Bentley Dallas couples at a magnificent Preston Hollow estate.
“It was a magical evening under the stars, and everyone observed all appropriate health and safety precautions,” said Liz Shafton, Avondale Dealerships Communications & Experiential Marketing Director. “Normally the kitchen is out of sight, but with Chef Yann’s concept, he prepares and cooks these exquisite creations right in front of the guests. The cuisine was very elevated, yet there was a relaxed and convivial rapport between Chef Yann and our guests. He brought an incredible amount of joy with him on this epicurean road trip.”
The fortunate couples enjoyed canapes with caviar, lemon and voatsiperifery pepper and golden beets with whipped goat cheese and honey with thyme blossoms while sipping Dom Perignon Vintage 2008.
The first and second courses paired elegantly with Krug Grande Cuvee 168th Edition, leading with Carpaccio of Avocado and Nantucket Bay Scallops and White Truffles.
The main event featured Wagyu Beef and Leeks with Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot 1995 “en Magnum.” Dessert dazzled with a chocolate tarte with blueberries in Hennessy Paradis, culminating with Hennessy XO Cognac-infused Coffees and Madeleines.
Bentley showcased a Continental GT, a Continental GT Super Convertible, a Bentayga, a Flying Spur and a special Bentley GT V8 First Edition in Orange Flame.
The estate at 5031 Deloache Avenue, listed by Terri Patrick Cox with Allie Beth Allman & Associates, A Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate, has been described as “Preston Hollow Perfection.” Located on almost two acres of gorgeous grounds, the estate offers over 15,000 square feet of living space including six bedrooms, 7.4 baths, numerous living spaces, and resort-style amenities. The ladies were particularly inspired by the two-story, boutique master closet, while the men were drawn to the sport court, putting green and indoor golf simulator. The dinner was hosted on the lavish lawn, one of several outdoor spaces on this beautiful estate.
