Friday night wasn't just your typical Scots football game—it was homecoming for the blue and gold.

So, the showdown between Highland Park and the Carrollton Creekview Mustangs was only one part of the evening, attended by thousands of alumni and lifelong Scots fans. Football captains and homecoming queens from past decades walked the field to be recognized, and, of course—a new queen was crowned.

The scoreboard read 49-24 Scots at the end of the fourth quarter, pushing the Scots to 7-1 so far this season. You can read a more detailed recap by BubbleLife football columnist Elliott Marshall here.

Coach Allen's squad will take on Carrollton Newman Smith away Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. It's also Senior Night. The Scots will round out regular season play against Terrell Nov. 8.
