Happy Halloween from BubbleLife!

We got a fun little article from Allyn Media’s Kristin Welsh and wanted to share these Halloween facts from Walmart:

The mega retailer sells almost 600 different types of Halloween costumes, with a ton of superhero costumes flying off the shelves for boys each year in preparation for trick-or-treating and fall festivals. The four top sellers are Spiderman, Superman, Ironman and Captain America.

For young ladies? Eight of the most popular costumes are Batgirl, a witch, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, a gypsy, a fairy, Monster High, a princess, and an angel.

Adults take to Walmart for costumes, too, because you’re never too old to dress up and have some fun, right? Women buy Cleopatra, witch, fairy and butterfly costumes most frequently from Walmart, and for men, the top four costumes are a banana, Duck Dynasty, baby head and a zombie.

Check out the numbers for some of the Halloween accessories Walmart sells during the spookiest time of the year:

250,000 is how many tubes of red lipstick Walmart will sell during Halloween—more than any other time of the year.

The most popular trick-or-treat pail color? Orange of course! 1.2 million of those are sold. In total, Walmart will sell 5.3 million pails for all of those trick-or-treaters!

And, seven million is how many different glow sticks Walmart anticipates selling this season, according to Allyn Media.
