Merriman Anderson Architects (MAA) is proud to introduce two new team members leading the firm’s Interior Design division. Tracy Rumsey oversees Commercial and Corporate Interiors while Erin Tallent is leading the firm’s Hospitality Interiors.  

Tracy Rumsey, RID, joins MAA as Director of Commercial Interior Design and brings with her a rich background of 17 years of experience. Rumsey’s portfolio includes a breadth of workplace interiors including retail, restaurant and corporate interior design commissions. Rumsey is skilled at creating a collaborative work environment, building trust among clients and fellow consultants, and providing exceptional service and solutions for each project. 

Erin Tallent, RID, assumes the role of Director of Hospitality Interior Design for MAA and brings a varied background across all spectrums of the hospitality design industry. Tallent’s impressive portfolio of hospitality installations includes both new construction and renovations catering to a variety of flags in the hotel market. At MAA, she will be responsible for leading a group of talented fellow design professionals to develop unique, thoughtful and creative interior concepts. Her process includes designing and developing the FF&E packages while coordinating with owners, consultants and contractors. Both Tracy and Erin work with the owners, design teams, and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and within the budget further developing MAA’s outreach within the commercial, corporate and hospitality industries.

MAA’s long-standing interior design portfolio includes The Statler, The National, Bell Helicopter Headquarters, AC Hotel Fort Worth Downtown, WeWork Domain Austin, Cambria Downtown Houston, Genband office in Frisco, Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Southlake, and more.
