The HP Lady Scots soccer team is back in action with a busy slate of games.  The 9-0 Lady Scots are ranked #4 in Texas 5A girls soccer and #1 in the Dallas Morning News area 5A teams.  They continue to dominate their opponents with 62 goals scored while only conceding 2 goals so far this season.  They are averaging almost 7 goals per game!!  On Tuesday, February 23rd the Lady Scots had the good fortune of hosting Charity Night for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital where they donated over $3000.  Also, the girls celebrated Youth Night where the community of future Lady Scots came out in full force to support their local heroes.  The current Lady Scots didn’t disappoint their young fans by steamrolling Mesquite Poteet 10-0 and Greenville 7-0.  It was truly a team effort with 12 different girls getting on the stat sheet over both games.  The stat sheet doesn’t tell the entire story as the defense once again posted another shutout, their 8th of the young season.  The defense had key contributions from senior Keri McCue and freshman Emerson Andrews.  The scoring was led by Parker Hart (3 goals, 1 assist), Maja Davison Lardner (3 goals), EmJ Cox (2 goals, 4 assists), Quinn Cornog (2 goals, 2 assists), Keller Matise (1 goal, 2 assists), Kylie Bell (1 goal, 2 assists), Loran Johansen (1 goal, 1 assist), Hattie Speicher (1 goal, 1 assist), Amelia Stevens (1 goal), Josie Hart (1 goal), Elise Needleman (1 goal - 1st Varsity Goal!) and Elise Borders (1 assist).  Come help the Lady Scots continue their undefeated season!!
