February 2nd was the Royse City Bulldogs and Teacher Appreciation Night.  Prior to the game, the senior players were able to honor the teacher that meant the most to them throughout their time at Highland Park.  The Lady Scots crushed the Bulldogs 9-0 with an excellent team performance highlighted by senior Josie Hart.  Josie contributed 2 skillful assists and created numerous scoring opportunities with her excellent play out wide.  Senior Maja Davison Lardner led the scoring with her first hat-trick of the season while sophomore Hattie Patterson had a brilliant solo effort in the first half.  Quinn Cornog notched 2 more goals with other goals by Keller Matise, Parker Hart and Kylie Bell.  Besides Josie Hart’s 2 assists, the team passed the ball selflessly the entire game.  Kylie Bell had 2 assists with Keller Matise, Parker Hart, Quinn Cornog and Kassity Garrett picking up the other assists.  A great team performance by the undefeated HP Lady Scots!
