St. Valentine’s Day Luncheon & Fashion Show patrons and event leadership were treated to a special “pop by” celebration at Highland Park Village’s Carolina Herrera on Thursday, January 28 in honor of the upcoming virtual fundraiser benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 

 

Luncheon chair Melinda Knowles and Carolina Herrera general manager Morgan Williams welcomed small pre-scheduled groups of four, donning masks, as a thank you for their support of this year’s event.  While champagne and sweets were a “to go” treat in keeping with health protocols, attendees did have time to peruse the boutiques stunning collections, including a gorgeous selection of pink and red Valentine-inspired clothing and accessories.

 

Carolina Herrera is one of the Highland Park Village retailers that will be featured in the February 11 virtual fashion show, in addition to Alice & Olivia, The Conservatory,  Veronica Beard, Roller Rabbit, Lela Rose and MARKET.

Founded by Janet Evans and Rusty Duvall, the Saint Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Showhas raised more than $13 million in its 37 years, funding research in Texas, including UT Southwestern Medical Center.   Since its inception some patient survival rates have doubled and countless advances have been made with new safer treatments for patients.
