Park Cities Dads' Club Hosting 20th Annual Teachers Cup Golf Tournament

Golfers throughout the Park Cities will have an opportunity this month to participate in a tournament that will benefit teachers in the Highland Park Independent School District.

The Park Cities Dads' Club is hosting the 20th annual Teachers Cup golf tournament on Oct. 24 at Brook Hollow Golf Club.

Over the past two decades, more than $1.8 million has been raised by the tournament for teacher enrichment funds at HPISD. This year, the tournament costs $395 per golfer and anyone who is interested in participating can sign up online by visiting the school district's website.

Also, volunteers are still needed to help collect money and serve as witnesses on par-3 holes. Volunteer shifts last for two-and-a-half hours and will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. on the day of the event. Anyone who is interested in volunteering should email Daniel McVeigh at Daniel_McVeigh@ml.com to find out more information and sign up.

There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities still available for the golf tournament as well that start at $1,500, and you can contact Sam Dalton at (214) 686-2001 to find out more information and sign up for a sponsorship.
