  • This follows a special combined 10 a.m. worship service.

Sunday, November 9: Celebrate the Present

  • A carnival and cookout for all ages celebrating the members, families and neighbors that make UPUMC such an important part of the community.

University Park United Methodist Church began 75 years ago after a study revealed that the Park Cities were among the most under-churched residential areas in the nation.  On Nov. 12, 1939, forty-three bold Methodists gathered in the Highland Park High School auditorium for the church’s first worship service. From its earliest days to the present, University Park United Methodist Church has been led by faithful members and visionary thinkers who answer God’s call with courage, grace and conviction.
