Highland Belles 2015-2016 Squad Named After New Members Chosen

December 8, 2014 - After a rigorous tryout process, the award-winning Highland Belles drill team added 29 new team members to its 2015-2016 roster.  The new team was carefully selected after hopefuls and returning Belles committed to a week-long training process, culminating in a tryout last Saturday led by third-party, independent judges from within the drill team community. 

Including the new Belles, the 2015-2016 squad will total 64 members plus any additional managers added by the Directors.

The 2015-2016 new Highland Belles will begin their workout and off-season training in January alongside the current Belle team.  Their first team performance will be featured in late spring.

For over 31years, the Highland Belles have been known throughout Highland Park and the dance/drill community for their dedicated work-ethic, technique and precision routines.  Dancing under the direction of Mrs. Shannon Phillips, Highland Belle Director, Belle performances include military, jazz, pom, high kick, prop and novelty selections.
