Covenant graduate, Clark Martin was named the TAPPS 2A Athlete of the Year. Clark received multiple accolades this year including: 1st Team All-State Running Back, 1st Team All-State Linebacker, 2nd Team All-District in basketball, 1st place at State Track in the 400 and 4x400 Relay and Academic All-State in Football and Track. Clark has been at The Covenant School for thirteen years, and has been instrumental in winning two state championships in football and one state championship in track.

Clark was honored to receive the award saying, “This award is a very big honor, and this is the perfect ending to the Martin family legacy at The Covenant School over the last ten years. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my parents and without the example my brothers set for me in how to work hard and give everything you have.” Clark’s oldest brother, Will Martin, won the TAPPS 1A Athlete of the Year award back in 2008.
