Dallas Symphony Orchestra League hosted the second Party of Note on April 30 at the beautiful Baron Estate in Preston Hollow. The sold-out event was entitled “Keyboard Magic” and it featured classical music by a Russian-born virtuoso pianist Anastasia Markina, a member of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Marion Moore and Susan Walker co-chaired both Parties of Note this season for DSOL.  Ginger Sager was honored for her outstanding leadership as president for the 2013-2014 DSOL board of directors.

Our gratitude is owed to the Symphony partners in the Dallas business community for their very generous donations.  Upon arrival, the guests were greeted by Gold Crown valet. The elegant evening included wine from the most outstanding wine warehouse in the nation: Total Wine. One will find the finest wines, champagne, beer and other spirits to compliment one’s food and palate.

Jim Huntley, general manager of the ever-popular Morton’s Steakhouse Uptown provided a delectable dining experience for all of the guests. The appetizers, steaks and dessert were paired perfectly with the wine. Jay Cooper, director of Ducky-Bob’s Event Specialist graciously donated the beautiful table designs and decor and Food Glorious Food provided exceptional staffing to help orchestrate the event. The amazing centerpieces were designed by one of our league members, Elizabeth Rois-Mendez, who owns The Classic Gourmet.

This Party of Note was a memorable event for all who attended.
