The Highland Belles Lieutenants recently performed at the Encore Creative Productions Officer Camp in Frisco, Texas.  The camp, at the Frisco Convention Center, is designed for the top officers of drill teams and renowned for its instruction on leadership, technique and custom halftime routines.

After a rigorous and rewarding camp, the Highland Belle Lieutenants were awarded a gold ribbon (highest ranking) for their jazz routine. Another highlight of the four day event was the opportunity to take masters classes with Tyce Diorio and Hamilton Evans. The Lieutenants danced under the direction of Mrs. Shannon Phillips of the Highland Belles.

Upon learning of the award, Mrs. Phillips said, “Congratulations to Jillian, Maddie, Landry, Olivia and Flora Kate. Our Lieutenants were so successful at this camp. I am very impressed with their work ethic and positive attitudes. The leadership skills the girls developed while at camp will surely benefit the entire team this August when our practices begin for fall performances."
