University Park Elementary's Den 5 wrapped up its second year of Scouting this week.  All 16 members walked their block and collected card board boxes, yard signs, and pizza boxes.  The boys learned from University Park's Sanitation Superintendent, Gary Middleton, that pizza boxes are often recycled incorrectly and that the greasy parts of the box should be removed before being placed in the recycling bin.  Yard signs and card board boxes are also often not broken down before recycling, according to Middleton.  The Den completed its Council Fire Adventure and will be moving on to become Bears in the Fall.   Den 5 is from University Park Elementary's Pack 70 and is made up of boys in the Second Grade.
