A former Park Cities resident has set up a website to help military families find information quickly and easily about towns where military stations are located in case they have to move.

Cameron Allison, who is a navy wife that graduated from Highland Park High School in 1998, created the website Military Town Advisor, which is a free relocation resource that provides families with information about military cities.

The website allows users to write reviews and provide first-hand insights about topics, such as neighborhoods and schools, so people can effortlessly find all of the information about an area on one website.

"MilitaryTownAdvisor.com's reviews help families make an informed decision on where to begin looking for a place to live that will fit with each family's goals and lifestyle choices," according to the website.

On the website, there is a "5 Star Rating System" that lets users rate neighborhoods based on topics, including "family, friendliness, location to base, safety, social and schools," and there is even a "pros and cons" section, which helps make the reviews more objective.

"I understand the uncertainty and strain that comes with packing up your family and moving to a new town, state or even country," said Allison, on the website.
