APRIL 2

Fraud
A 65-year-old resident reported that she accidentally left her wallet in a taxi on March 11 in New York, and an unknown person took it, made purchases with her credit cards and used her Social Security number to open credit accounts.

APRIL 4

Vehicle Burglary
A 26-year-old resident reported that his 2009 GMC Yukon was broken into between 10 p.m. April 3 and 8 a.m. April 4 in the 3400 block of Drexel Drive and property was removed, including golf clubs, a shoe shine machine and two rear seats to the vehicle, and the items were left on the street behind the car.

Vehicle Burglary
A 34-year-old resident reported that a window to her 2012 GMC Yukon XL was shattered between 4 p.m. and 4:32 p.m. in the 3700 block of Maplewood Avenue, and a Long Champ bag, Louis Vuitton purse, two Apple iPod Touch players and four DVDs were stolen.

APRIL 5

Theft
A 41-year-old resident reported that a wheel was stolen off his 2009 Chevrolet Suburban around 12:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Rheims Place.

Damage to Town Property
Two suspects of aggravated robberies in Dallas crashed a 1997 Honda Accord into an oak tree, causing an estimated $500 of damage to the tree, at 1:36 a.m. in the 4800 block of Preston Road while they were being pursued by Dallas police officers.

APRIL 6

Criminal Mischief
A person was spotted running away from a 1997 Mercury Cougar, which belongs to a 53-year-old resident of University Park at 12:52 a.m. in the 3800 block of Maplewood Avenue, and the vehicle had a broken rear window and a dent to the rear trunk lid.

APRIL 7

Found Property
A 44-year-old resident reported that his son's bicycle was missing, which he discovered had been picked up by a police officer at 1:05 a.m. on the side of the roadway at Fairfax Park.

Criminal Mischief
A 53-year-old reported that illegible words were spray painted on "one of the brick fence supports" between 5 p.m. April 6 and 9 a.m. April 7 at the town homes called Highland Gates on Katy Trail.

Minor in Possession
After receiving a noise complaint, Highland Park police officers arrived at a residence in the 4500 block of Belclaire Avenue at 3:25 p.m., discovered underage age subjects drinking alcoholic beverages and wrote numerous citations.
