Tootsies in the Plaza at Preston Center hosted a Celebrity Waiter Countdown Cocktail Party on Aug. 22, which benefited Family Gateway, an organization that helps homeless families with children by providing transitional housing and comprehensive services.

At the event, guests, such as Cynthia Smoot, Hamilton Sneed, Jennifer Jackson Lelash, Yvonne Crum, Angela Choquette, Allison Edwards, D'Andra Simmons, Jennifer Buxton and Leslie Boysen, enjoyed food, drinks and DJ Esquire's music.

Also, during the party, Rhonda Sargent Chambers emceed a "trend presentation," which featured designs by Cut 25 and jewelry by Claudia Lobao. The Celebrity Waiter models in the presentation were Ashley Burghardt, Shay Geyer, Shona C. Gilbert, Fiona Gorostiza, Lindsay Jacaman, Steve Kemble, Courtney Kerr, Maggie Kipp, LeeAnne Locken, Dawn Mellon, Dawn Neufeld, Jamie Singer, Amy Vanderoef and Hilari Younger.
