La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas honored the 2017 Duchesses, Escorts, their parents and the season's Underwriters on the Friday evening of June 9^th at the Highland Park home of Gwen and Doug Parker.  The annual event, held the eve of the Presentation Gala, offered underwriters and La Fiesta families a casual mix and mingle over a lavish buffet dinner with G Texas Catering showing their savoir faire.  The French-inspired menu included chicken cordon bleu croquettes, mini French dip sliders, steak au poivre crostinis, macaronis au fromage, and petite crème brulee.  The party was co-chaired by La Fiesta Guild members Mary Deaver and Ruthie Lightbourn.  Valet Parking was provided by Land Rover Dallas.  Dal-Tile Corporation underwrote the entertainment with a string trio greeting guests at the door and DJ Roger Hayes rocking the backyard and patio.  For a more complete list of underwriters, visit www.lafiestaparkcities.com.
