The City of University Park and the Town of Highland Park have partnered with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension on four information-packed programs for those interested in landscaping and water conservation. All programs are free of charge, but attendees are asked to RSVP for each class. The City of University Park will host the next course at the UP Public Library on March 1. Below is a description.

 Tuesday, March 1 -- Native and Adaptive Plants 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Are you a “Native Texas” or a transplant? Plants are native or transplants too! This program covers a large selection of minimal water use plants that are native and adaptive ideal for a sustainable landscape or garden. You will learn proper soil preparation, proper planning, and native and adaptive plant selection. RSVP for Native and Adaptive Plants.
