The holiday season was kicked off at the Dallas Arboretum with a Southern Christmas New Orleans Style on December 2. A Creole Reveillon Buffet was served at the Camp House in place of the traditional turkey, roast or ham, with desserts including bread pudding and pecan praline cheesecake. A New Orleans Jazz Trio provided the guests traditional Louisiana style ambiance for the evening. After dinner, the guests strolled the gardens to see the stunning 12 Days of Christmas exhibit, which has returned for a second year.

The event was hosted by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and was chaired by Dixey Arterburn and Ginger Sager. Renee Querbes Farren is the Women’s Council President.

Proceeds will benefit the Woman’s Garden at the Arboretum.
