Bentley Motors CEO and Park Place Dealerships Chairman personally unveil the World’s fastest, most powerful SUV

An air of excitement and anticipation filled the showroom at Bentley Dallas recently as guests awaited the unveiling of Bentley’s first ever SUV. Draped with a large black cloth, the $229,000 ultra-luxury vehicle drew a large crowd.

Park Place Dealerships Chairman Ken Schnitzer and Bentley Motors CEO Michael Winkler personally unveiled the Bentayga. Guests surged forward for a chance to sit in the car and admire the fine details up close.

Guests enjoyed fresh seafood bites by Eddie V’s and crafted cocktails from Blue Nectar Spirits while relaxing with hand-rolled cigars and delectable sweets by Chocolate Secrets.

The Bentayga is the fastest, most powerful and exclusive SUV in the world.  And it’s clearly the most luxurious. As with all Bentley’s, the Bentayga will be handmade in Crewe, England, by third- and fourth-generation craftsmen who spend hours stitching, polishing, and refining to perfection the tiniest detail.

While the car comes with a choice of four or five seats covered in a choice of 15 different hues of leather, plus dozens of combinations of exotic woods and brushed metal and carbon fiber trim, the true beauty of a Bentley is the Bespoke program, which offers the ultimate in customization.

Currently on its North American Tour, this was the first and only opportunity for North Texas to see the vehicle until the 2017 Bentayga hits the market in mid-2016. Outfitted with a 600 horsepower, twin turbo, W12 engine, the Bentayga will go from 0 - 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph. While it’s hard to imagine someone taking this beauty off-road, it will certainly handle the most rugged terrain with
663 foot pounds of torque over a four-wheel-drive, eight-speed automatic transmission.
The car was in development for more than four years.

Bentley Dallas is part of the Park Place Premier Collection, located at 5300 Lemmon Avenue near Love Field.
