JAN. 18

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE/THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 28-year-old resident and a 50-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole a bicycle, then “upgraded” and stole a 2014 Lexus 350, which was being warmed in the driveway at 8:15 a.m in the 4300 block of Emerson Avenue.

 

JAN. 19

BURGLARY OF BUILDING

A 62-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into an office building and took property sometime between Dec. 1, 2015 and Jan. 18, 2016 in the 6400 block of N. Central Expressway.

 

JAN. 20

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 48-year-old non-resident reported that an unknown suspect stole a street sweeper from the valet parking area at Turley Law Center between 6:40 a.m. and 7 a.m. in the 6400 block of N. Central Expressway.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

A 42-year-old resident in the 3900 block of Centenary Avenue reported that an unknown suspect used his information to file a fraudulent 2014 tax return sometime between Dec. 15, 2015 and Jan. 20, 2016.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 36-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole his hoverboard between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the 4500 block of Stanhope Drive.

 

JAN. 21

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

A 45-year-old resident in the 3000 block of Westminster Avenue filed a complaint of forged checks passed by an unknown suspect.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 56-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole the third row seats from his 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe overnight in the 3400 block of Marquette Street.
