FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown subject struck her vehicle while it was parked on the street between Jan. 2 and Jan. 3 and did not leave identification in the 3400 block of Dartmouth Avenue.

 

JAN. 7

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

A 45-year-old resident and a 43-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered their unlocked residence overnight and stole several items including debit cards, an Apple iPad, an Apple Macbook Pro and two vacuum cleaners in the 4700 block of Bowser Court.

 

JAN. 8

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 54-year-old resident reported that a package containing Christmas gifts was stolen from her front porch by an unknown suspect between Dec. 22 and Jan. 7 in the 3100 block of St. Johns Drive.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 43-year-old resident reported that a Cartier watch was stolen from her home, possibly by her cleaning lady, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the 4200 block of Potomac Avenue.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 45-year-old resident reported that a Tory Burch bag containing a Lenovo laptop was stolen from her vehicle between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue.

 

JAN. 9

THEFT OF PROPERTY

An off-duty officer at Whole Foods in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive reported that a suspect shoplifted approximately $585.92 worth of items at 2 p.m. The suspect was released at the scene and a warrant will be issued for his arrest.
