His efforts during that championship included a win in Game One of the World Series.
Clayton has a professional playing career that has spanned 10 seasons after being drafted seventh overall in the first round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. He has played his entire Major League career with the Los Angeles Dodgers and has been named to five All-Star Teams. In addition, he is a 2011 Gold Glove Award winner, the 2011 Pitching Triple Crown winner, the recipient of the 2012 Roberto Clemente Award, a three-time National League Cy Young Award winner, and was named the 2014 National League Most Valuable Player.
