Drivers beware: There will be road construction at the intersection of Beverly Drive and Preston Road during the middle of next week, which may cause traffic congestion.

The intersection will be milled and repaved from Dec 13-15 if weather permits, and through traffic will not be able to drive down the 4200 block of Beverly Drive and Fairfax Avenue.

According to the town of Highland Park's website, a third-party contractor is being required by the Town to replace the previously laid asphalt at the intersection because it is currently below quality standards.
