A 52-year-old Mesquite resident reported that her Ford F250 was broken into and her purse, GPS and an assortment of makeup were taken without her consent between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Westside Drive.
APRIL 7
BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 32-year-old Dallas resident reported that an unknown suspect entered her unlocked Mercedes GL450 and took property without her consent, including a Gucci python skin purse valued at $3,200, a Tag Heuer silver and diamond sports watch valued at $4,000, and a velvet bag with jewelry valued at $400, between 2:15 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. in the 4100 block of Mockingbird Lane.
APRIL 8
BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 62-year-old resident reported that his 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck was found sitting on blocks missing all four wheels and tires and that an unknown suspect had taken the property without his consent between the hours of 8:30 p.m. on April 7 and 6:30 a.m. on April 8 in the 4600 block of Southern Avenue.
IDENTITY THEFT
A 42-year-old resident in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue reported that a Capital One Signature Card was opened within his savings account, using his name without his permission or knowledge, between 8:15 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. that morning.
IDENTITY THEFT
A 60-year-old resident in the 3700 block of Shenandoah Avenue reported that while attempting to electronically file his taxes through Turbo Tax, he received notification from both the IRS and Turbo Tax that his return had been denied due to previous use of his social security number.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 71-year-old resident reported that her 1997 Honda Accord was broken into and the ignition was damaged between 5:45 p.m. on April 9 and 7:30 a.m. on April 10 in the 4400 block of Mockingbird Lane.
IDENTITY THEFT
A 52-year-old resident in the 3300 block of Drexel Drive reported that she received notification that her REI Visa Signature card was used in South Carolina between April 2 and April 3 to purchase gas for approximately $66, though she was not in South Carolina during the listed dates.
APRIL 11
BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 17-year-old Dallas resident reported that his 2015 Chevy Silverado was broken into and his backpack containing school work, a debit card and $30 cash were taken without his consent between 5 p.m. on April 10 and 12:01 a.m. on April 11 in the 4200 block of Mockingbird Lane.
