CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
An 18-year-old non-resident reported that her vehicle was keyed on the left side and the hood by unknown means between 8:15 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. in the 4200 block of Grassmere Lane.
FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO
A 32-year-old resident in the 6000 block of Preston Road reported that an unknown suspect used her personal information to make purchases with her debit card between March 31 and April 6.
DUTY ON STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE
A 50-year-old resident reported that his 2012 Ford Mustang GT was struck by an unknown suspect who failed to notify the victim between 8:45 a.m. and 7:50 p.m. in the 3900 block of Amherst Street.
APRIL 7
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A 42-year-old resident reported that a bicycle valued at $2,000 was stolen from the rear carport area of his residence between April 4 and April 7 in the 3800 block of Greenbrier Drive.
APRIL 8
ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
While a vehicle was stopped to turn right onto Glenwick, a second unknown vehicle turned right, in front of the victim’s truck, striking the truck in the front left corner of the vehicle at 8 a.m. in the 6700 block of Preston Road.
HARRASSMENT (OTHER THAN BY THREAT)
A 39-year-old resident in the 3300 block of Southwestern Boulevard reported that he received a strange phone call at 9:02 p.m.
APRIL 10
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A 44-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered her 2015 Chevy Tahoe and stole her purse and additional property between 8 p.m. on April 9 and 3:30 a.m. on April 10 in the 2700 block of Rosedale Avenue.
DUTY ON STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE
A vehicle attempted to pass a parked City of University Park truck, striking and causing minor damage to the truck, and left the scene without leaving information at 8:17 a.m. in the 6000 block of St. Andrews Drive.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A 39-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole a bicycle from her residence sometime before 4:21 p.m. on April 10 in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane.
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A 44-year-old non-resident reported that an unknown suspect entered her 2014 Honda Odyssey and stole a variety of property including her purse, an Apple iPad valued at $700 and approximately $400 cash between 5:30 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. in the 6600 block of Westchester Drive.
APRIL 11
THEFT OF PROPERTY
Two offenders entered CVS around 1:08 a.m. in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane and stole a variety of property. Officers were alerted and both suspects were placed under arrest for theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and evading arrest.
APRIL 12
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A 40-year-old resident reported that her 2008 Honda Odyssey was entered by an unknown suspect and her purse was taken from the vehicle without her consent between 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. in the 4200 block of Normandy Avenue.
THEFT OF FIREARM (FROM MOTOR VEHICLE)
A 41-year-old resident reported that a Beretta handgun was stolen from his 2011 Chevy Silverado between 10 p.m. on April 11 and 12:50 on April 12 in the 4500 block of San Carlos Drive.
