Three fun Book Festivals are coming to your area! Meet authors, purchase their books, and get them signed with a personal note. There will be food, lectures, and volumes of fun!

On Saturday, April 11th will be the North Texas Book Festival. It begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. and is held at the Patterson-Appleton Center for the Visual Arts (400 E. Hickory Street, Denton). Children's Story Time, lecture sessions on a variety of topics, including writing and publishing, as well as hundreds of titles for sale by the author are just a few highlights of the event. www.ntfb.org

Then on Saturday, April 18th, the Dallas Book Festival will be held at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library (1515 Young Street, Dallas) from 12 to 5 p.m. Crafts, story time, lectures, book sales, and a performance by the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas round out this not-to-miss event. Finally, on April 28th, meet local Dallas author Jill K. Sayre as she discusses and signs her award-winning book, The Fairies of Turtle Creek. Copies of her book will also be for sale.
