Condoleezza Rice will be performing a private concert with the Muir String Quartet at the beginning of next year to benefit Dallas Chamber Music.
On Feb. 12, the former U.S. Secretary of State will be showcasing her piano talents in a private Dallas residence (possibly in the Park Cities), and packages to the event begin at $1,000.
Rice started taking music lessons when she was three years old and performed Mozart's Piano Concerto in D minor at the age of 15 with the Denver Symphony Orchestra. Before changing to political science, Rice started out as a music major while in college at the University of Denver. Since then, she has performed with Yo-Yo Ma and Aretha Franklin and even played a recital at Buckingham Palace for the Queen of England.
Former first lady Laura Bush will also be in attendance at the concert, serving as the event's Honorary Chair.
Seating to the concert is limited, so make sure to get your tickets early if you are interested in attending this special event. For single-ticket and package information, please call (972) 392-3267.
