APRIL 13

LARCENY - THEFT 

A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole her son’s bike from the parking lot at her residence between 9 p.m. on April 12 and 7:45 a.m. on April 13 in the 4700 block of Abbott Avenue.

DUTY ON STRICKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE

A 35-year-old Richardson resident reported that she observed an SUV striking her parked vehicle, and then driving away, without leaving identifying information around 3:10 p.m. near the Christian Louboutin store at Highland Park Village (27 HPSV). The victim was able to obtain the suspect’s license plate number.

APRIL 14

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

A 36-year-old resident in the 4700 block of Bowser Avenue reported that, upon returning home around 4 p.m. on April 9, she noticed that her garage door was open. She checked her home for intruders but found no one. Later, she realized that three diamond rings, valued at $11,865, $2,525 and $3,395, were missing, in addition to a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and an iPad Mini.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A 29-year-old resident reported that a possible known suspect intentionally poured cream-colored nail polish on his 2007 Honda Civic between 3:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the 4700 block of Abbott Avenue.

APRIL 15

ANIMAL BITE

An 89-year-old resident in the 3800 block of Maplewood Avenue reported that her grandson’s bulldog bit her on the hand, requiring medical treatment, at 7 p.m. on April 12. The dog was confirmed to be current on rabies vaccination and the owner agreed to comply with home quarantine requirements.

APRIL 16

LARCENY - THEFT

A 38-year-old resident reported that her secured Cannondale bicycle, valued at $1,000, was taken from the courtyard stairs adjacent to her apartment between 10 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on April 15 in the 4700 block of Abbott Avenue.

IDENTITY THEFT

A 61-year-old resident in the 3100 block of Cornell Avenue reported that he was notified by his CPA that, while attempting to file his federal tax return, they were informed that someone had already filed a tax return in February 2015 using the given social security number.

IDENTITY THEFT

A 66-year-old resident in the 4600 block of Belclaire Avenue reported that four unauthorized transactions were made using her bank account between April 10 and April 14.

APRIL 17

FOUND PROPERTY

An unidentified male approached an officer at Highland Park Shopping Village with a yellow vinyl wallet, found at Fairfax Park (5000 Roland Avenue). The wallet had no identification.

LARCENY - THEFT

A 29-year-old Arlington resident reported that a black iPhone 5 and a Samsung phone were taken off the counter at his place of work, the Tom Ford store at Highland Park Village (#50 HPSV), without his consent at 2:18 p.m.

APRIL 18

LARCENY - THEFT

A 46-year-old Dallas resident reported that two unknown suspects stole items valued at $165 and $200 from the Stella McCartney store at Highland Park Village (18 HPSV) between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. on April 17.

DUTY ON STRICKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE

A 67-year-old Beeline resident reported that her rental car was struck by an unknown suspect, causing damage, between 1:25 p.m. and 2:35 p.m. at 100 HPSV.
