The Wells Fargo Dallas Symphony Derby brought the atmosphere of the famous Kentucky Derby to Dallas, complete with hats, horses and mint juleps. It was held on April 19 at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. This marks the 11th year the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League has partnered with title sponsor Wells Fargo and the 18th year it has partnered with presenting sponsor Lone Star Park for an exciting fundraising event. 

Courtney Nall and Susan Walker were the Derby Co-Chairs. Celebrity Chair and emcee was Jane McGarry, co-host for Good Morning Texas.  Lee Bailey and Doris Jacobs served as Honorary Chairs and Dixie Marshall is the DSOL President.

Proceeds from the Wells Fargo Symphony Derby benefit the Dallas Symphony’s education and outreach programs.
