FORGERY FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT, EVADING ARREST DETENTION

A 25-year-old non-resident was arrested after attempting to cash a forged check in the 6700 block of Preston Road at 12:31 p.m.

RECKLESS DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION

A 45-year-old resident reported that a large truck hit a tree and a branch was removed from the tree around 2:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of McFarlin Boulevard.

THEFT UNDER $50 (SHOPLIFTING)

An employee of Kidswap reported that a known suspect stole items from the store at 11:53 a.m. in the 6600 block of Snider Plaza.

MAY 20

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 27-year-old non-resident reported that a lawn mower was stolen out of a work van around 9:55 a.m. in the 4200 block of Larchmont Avenue.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A 35-year-old non-resident reported that his 2014 Chevrolet 1500 was struck by a red SUV at the intersection of Preston Road and University Boulevard at 1:55 p.m., and the SUV did not stop to leave information.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 22-year-old non-resident reported that landscaping tools were stolen from the back of his pickup truck between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. in the 3300 block of Greenbrier Drive.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

A 35-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect took his 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe without his consent sometime between 7 p.m. and midnight in the 2800 block of Dyer Street.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 55-year-old resident in the 3500 block of Southwestern Boulevard reported a case of fraud that occurred sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31, 2014.

HARRASSMENT

A 36-year-old resident reported that she has been harassed by a suspect in the 4300 block of University Boulevard.

HARRASSMENT

A 47-year-old resident reported that he received harassing phone calls from a suspect while at his mother’s house in the in the 3100 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A 62-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect broke his glass front door sometime between 12 p.m. on May 21 and midnight on May 23 in the 3000 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

MAY 24

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 55-year-old resident reported that the third row seat was stolen from his unlocked 2007 GMC Yukon between 7 p.m. on May 23 and 6 a.m. on May 24 in the 3500 block of Milton Avenue.
