In case you didn't hear, University Park residents can now include cartons with their home recycling.
According to this month's edition of The Arbor, the city added cartons to its recycling program on Dec. 1. In order to recycle cartons, you must empty them completely and remove all caps and straws.
Cartons are a valuable item to recycle because they are made of "high-quality paper." Also, recycling cartons will help cut back on the amount of times you need to empty the trash.
